Service Management and Project Management

To be able to deliver successful projects or IT service management, your business is reliant on effective Project Management or Service Management skills and knowledge. ITIL Training

The IT Infrastructure Library® (ITIL) is the most widely accepted approach to IT service management in the world. ITIL is a best practice framework that has been drawn from both the public and private sectors internationally. It describes how IT resources should be organised to deliver business value, documenting the processes, functions and roles of IT Service Management (ITSM).

ITIL is supported by a comprehensive qualifications scheme, accredited training organisations, such as Deverill and implementation and assessment tools.

Courses start with the ITIL Foundation and leads on to a full range of Service Management topics.

PRINCE 2 Training

Projects bring together resources, skills, technology and ideas to achieve business objectives.  Using a structured project management method such as PRINCE2 helps an organisation to ensure that these objectives are delivered to an appropriate level of quality and within the constraints of time and cost.  It is also an essential element in managing the risks inherent in change and innovation. 

PRINCE2 is used extensively throughout the public sector in the UK and is also widely recognised and used commercially in the UK and abroad.  The method can be applied to all kinds of project including information systems projects.
