Server Virtualisation Capacity Planning Service

Deverill’s Capacity Planning Service provides a clear picture of your current server environment and system performance along with clear recommendations and breakdown of the benefits that could be obtained by virtualising your environment. 

Our comprehensive capacity assessment uses VMware Capacity Planner to examine your IT assets and identify how your systems are performing; giving our consultants the information needed evaluate and make expert recommendations and clear input to strategic infrastructure reviews.

This service is delivered by a senior accredited consultant who will work closely with you to ensure you get the best results possible.

This service includes:

Consultancy – During the first stage of the service, we will meet and agree the scope and objectives of the Capacity Planning Assessment and identify the servers to be included. We will work with you to understand your business and IT drivers and priorities and answer any questions.

Installation – We will then install our capicity planning tools on one of your servers and begin discovering and collecting data.

Analysis – Following a period of 30 days of assessment, our consultant will analyse the data collected, document the findings and produce a comprehensive overview of findings and recommendations for various options.

Review & Final Presentation – Your capacity planning service ends with an on-site presentation of the assessment’s findings and evaluates the options available for virtualisation and consolidation strategies.
