Deverill's New HQ

Forty members of the 140-strong Deverill team have made the move to a newly refurbished office building on Upton Road, Poole. Some £150,000 has been invested in the 7,655 sq ft of office space, which has the capacity to train more than 100 delegates per week.
Joel Jervis, CEO of the south’s leading integrated IT and training company, made the decision to move the Deverill HQ to more modern premises for a number of reasons:
“We are now in our 30th year, so we felt we should move to offices which better reflect the ever-changing industry we work in. Our team has also expanded recently, so it’s nice to be able to provide both new members and longstanding members of the team with a modern working environment. Our HQ has always been in Poole, so we wanted to move to other premises in the town rather than relocating.”
Joel continues: “Steps have also been taken to ensure our new space is ‘greener’. For example, we have installed lighting systems that do not consume as much energy as traditional light bulbs and we have large windows to make use of the natural light. We have virtualised our environment, which means we have significantly reduced the number of servers by one third, so our systems do not consume as much energy as before. The new office is also better insulated and benefits from special energy-efficient heating and air conditioning systems. We are excited about welcoming our clients and prospective clients to our new building.”
Deverill’s HQ can now be found at: Phoenix House, Marshes End, Upton Road, Poole, Dorset, BH17 7AG. The team is due to hold an open day for its customers on September 10.
