IT, training and consultancy company, Deverill, has expanded its 140-strong team by recruiting Karl Edmonstone. Karl joins the team as a Training Account Manager.
Karl has a strong sales background, working in sales and marketing roles for the past 13 years. He has worked in IT sales for the past year and his previous job, with a leading telephone company, gave him a wealth of technical knowledge. As part of his new role at Deverill, Karl will be responsible for consulting existing Deverill clients and potential new clients on Soft Skills and IT training Dorset.
Karl said: “Before I got my job at Deverill I had visited Deverill’s training HQ as a training delegate and was very impressed by the facilities. I was drawn to the company as it’s got a proven track record of successful trading over many years. I hope to make others aware of the fantastic facilities Deverill has on offer.”
Joel Jervis, CEO of Deverill, said: “Karl has joined Deverill at a time when training, both IT and Soft Skills has never been so important. In January we saw a 60 per cent increase in enquiries from businesses for our IT courses compared to the previous month’s figures, so hopefully Karl will be able to improve this figure for next month.”
