Norwood renews IT support contract with Deverill
The South’s leading integrated IT solutions provider, Deverill Ltd, has successfully renewed its IT support contract with north- London based charity Norwood. Over the next three years Deverill will provide a complete IT Managed Service solution to the charity, which includes a remote end user helpdesk, roaming onsite desk-side support and IT training for over 400 users, across five offices and over 20 residential homes.
Norwood is a charity that supports children, families and adults with disadvantages or learning disabilities. The services are primarily provided to Jewish people, but wherever possible they are provided to the wider community. Norwood works with adults, children and families to define individual needs and aspirations.
Lorraine McKay, Head of IT at Norwood says: “The key benefit of the renewed contract is that the services have been re-shaped to meet our changing IT needs. Deverill will now run our helpdesk offsite at their centre in Poole; this has allowed us to include other value added services into the contract such as managing all of our IT purchasing needs. Norwood has had a long and stable relationship with Deverill over the past four years and I am really pleased that we have been able to be innovative with the new contract, while knowing that we can trust Deverill to continue to provide a professional service.”
The Deverill service includes the following elements:
- A Remote Managed Service to manage and run the servers and entire infrastructure
- A Remote End User Helpdesk
- An onsite Technical Support Engineer
- Roaming Engineers providing support services to remote locations
- IT Training services to build and improve the end users IT skills
- IT Procurement service to manage sourcing, delivering and installing IT equipment
- A software asset management service to track and manage software usage and license compliance
- An engineering Time Bank to address projects outside the scope of the managed service
Joel Jervis, Chief Executive of Deverill says: “We enjoy a strong working relationship with Norwood, we like to think we are an extension of their team and integral to the organisation. We are delighted that they have chosen to renew their contract with us as it builds continuity. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Norwood. ”
