Email Content Filtering & Image Analysis

Many organisations recognise the distress that can be suffered by users who innocently open email to find distasteful images attached. Increasingly, employers recognise that they have a responsibility to minimise these incidents and consequently, Deverill's Cloud Services provides a filter specifically to address image analysis.

User Protection

When images are scanned their dataflow (shape, colour, texture, etc.) is converted into a digital signature which is then compared against known pornographic images. If the image is similar to those blacklisted images, the email content is defined as being of a pornographic nature and appropriate action is taken to either delete or quarantine the email.

Containment and Notification

All messages containing suspect images are logged and quarantined.

Management Control

As with all aspects of the Deverill service, the client has complete control via a secure web control panel.
